The past 13 years has allowed us to streamline this entire process in the safest and most responsible manners for all parties involved. We work in cooperation with the county school boards and in harmony with the administration and guidance departments from each individual school. The school leadership teams identify the children in need, and in a celebratory manner without embarrassment, call each student to the office to receive their gift from the Backpack Lady Project. This process ensures the safety and well-being of every child, protects the security of our schools, and facilitates the mission of the Backpack Lady project to provide backpacks & school supplies to every elementary school child in need.
