Did you know that every year there are hundreds of young kids in your community that start the school year off with the worries and stresses of not having a backpack or school supplies?
Since 2011, The Backpack Lady Project has been on a community driven mission to ensure that every elementary school kid in Pinellas County is able to start the new school year with a backpack and all the necessary supplies to be successful. In the 2023/2024 school year, we will excitedly be adding 90 Pasco County elementary schools to our list of 90 Pinellas County schools.
While we have achieved and even crushed our goals every year, we need your help to accomplish this year’s lofty goals of providing 2,000 backpacks with supplies, raising $20,000 where 100% goes directly to this mission, and adding 90 additional elementary schools to our service area.
